This could be false advertising or the grower. A lot of shitty growers like to blame their results on breeders/genetics. Do your diligence on research. Everyone wants to say they are the best but few can back it up. Seedsherenow, speakeasyseedbank.com, and even good ol Attitude have plenty of great breeders. Don't fall for hype and end up with some Candy RainYea i did and i heard some other guy in here say that he grew it and the THC levels were 12% when advertised as 27
Stay away from Strainly I've seen breeders repost them with warnings of people with fake shit.I havent tried them but I have heard nothing but bad reviews. If you are in the US go with a US seed bank. No customs that way. Ive ordered from Seedsherenow several times with no issues. Authorize your CC for foreign purchases first cause they use a processor in Mexico.
Has anyone ever got anything off https://www.strainly.io/ ?
It looks like a bunch of pollen chuckers trying to sell their beans mostly.Stay away from Strainly I've seen breeders repost them with warnings of people with fake shit.
You need to be safe. Ask lots of questions and only shop with people who have reviews or folks you know.I took a look and it is too easy to say you got the best crosses. Looks like the Craigslist of pheno hunting b
8oz under CFL isn't a bad haul at all from 2 plants. Well done for a first grow.Ordered from crop king 2 years ago. 5 Northern lights auto fem. Received 6 seeds from a US address, so customs never came into play. Wasn’t stealth at all, but apparently that was necessary.
Soaked 2 seeds in water 24 hours, then directly into coco. Both seeds sprouted and resulted in a total of 8 ounces dry under cfl.
Planted 2 more in January, hoping for similar results. Wildy different phenotypes, as far as I can tell. 4 seeds 100% germination.
As a first time grower, I was thrilled to get seeds that grew at all. At least what I got was auto fems, although this round one plant is weeks behind the other.
Would I recommend them? Not really, as there are more banks out there with more reliable genetics.
Thanks!8oz under CFL isn't a bad haul at all from 2 plants. Well done for a first grow.
Crop king gets a lot of new growers, so do Autoflowers. My advice to a new grower would be stay away from Auto's unless you're growing them outdoors in a region that requires them.
You'll save money growing photoperiods due to reduced light cycle, have a better selection of genetics to choose from, and get a lot better chances at finding good weed as it doesn't have ditch hemp in the genetics. Then when you do find that one plant that treats you right you can clone her and keep her.
They got me with the auto's when I started too, I spent months growing them to be disappointed when stacked up against the photo's I grew. It was night and day.
Right on, sounds like you've found what works good for you. That's what it's about! Thanks!
I did a lot of LST for both grows. Growing in coco helped quite a bit with speedy growth rates. I also tended to the plants daily, both for LST training and to adjust my homemade light fixture. This round, I harvested one plant early and the other one completely occupies my 2’ x 2’ 7” grow area.
I might never go to photoperiods for three reasons, well maybe 2 1/2:
-My homemade grow closet isn’t light proof, but I could blackout the two windows in that room and be golden.
-My work schedule hours rotate, so, during 12/12, there would be days (either 2 or 3 days per week) when I would not be able to water, LST or adjust lights.
-My grow closet is 6 feet tall, but space is lost to my drainage pan, the height of my smart pots and significant room is lost to the light hanging apparatus. Thus, a photoperiod would likely run out of grow space.
I’m pretty happy that I can grow my own!
