Hey guys, i’m gonna do my best to be as thorough with the info as i can cause this has been driving me up the wall.
started my summer grow in early may.
2 fem skunks from white label in store-bought compost soil. Both were first stored in my fridge in their packaging which i then put in a ziplock bag. For the sake of clarity, skunk1 and skunk2.
Indoor setup: my closet under 600W with a ventilator running on low.
Summers where i am are hot and HUMID. My meter was showing 80s and 90s. Freaky shit.
Using this 20-20-20 npk thing for nutes and some organic stuff. Not ideal i know but they’ve worked just fine imo.
Anyway, right from the beginning, both were showing signs of struggling and slow growth. Both took about a month to reach about 5 inches. Then out of nowhere, skunk2’s leaves started gradually crisping up and dying starting from the bottom nodes all the way to the top. Couple weeks later, i wake up to find it had fallen, as if torn from whatever roots it managed to grow in the interval.
So now i’m left with skunk1. Managed to get some decent foliage and height out of it although it took until mid-july till i felt it had vegged enough to switch to 12-12. Around the same time, i started noticing the same symptoms skunk2 had shown. Leaves crisping up etc. The problem only accelerated with time. I thought maybe it had something to do with the closet i’m growing in although i’ve managed a bunch of really good grows in there in the past. So i took out. I get pretty good sun coverage. It’s been out a week now and the drying up just got worse. I’m stumped. i’ve grown the same strains before without so much as a hitch. Is it the heat ? Humidity ? How the seeds were stored ?
photo is from last night. Could really use some guidance on this one guys. Was really looking forward to the october harvest
