Creek rising...how strong are stalks?

Hey everyone...this is my first grow. I have 3 7ft plants in full bloom, prolly about 4 wks from harvest. I have a creek in my back yard. My plants are close to the creek and its rising due to heavy rainfall here. The stream is going about 10mph close to the bank. The plants are very bushy and loaded with buds so will really "catch" the water flow when/if the creek rises more. The stalks are pretty robust but I am worried they will not be strong enough. I would hate to have a premature harvest but it still would be better than to lose the plant entirely. I know they make rope from hemp but just how strong is pot stalks? Think they will hold? Thanks and this is a very nice site.

Its been almost 24hrs since posting above...creek is down now and the sun is out. Water never got to my plants. The bud godz have smiled upon me.

If you live in an area where you do not have to worry about risking drawing attention to your plants you can stack concrete blocks or bricks or use stakes and plywood on the upstream side of your plants to block the flow of water and somewhat divert it around them. If the creek rises that high the water will still surround your plants, and they might not survive that much moisture, but if you can keep the pressure of the running water off of them you at least stand some chance of them surviving since then you will not have to worry about them toppling over due to the pressure of the flowing water against them. You can also stake and tie them, or do both stake and tie them and protect them from the pressure of flowing water
