Hey I'm looking at building my own led, I really don't know a lot about it but after doing a lot of reading I decided that cree cob cxb3590 3000k are the best you can buy. So it found a site in new Zealand where I'm from who sell them but there's hundreds of them ranging from $60 to $160 so what's the difference?

Buy at Mr. Jerry Meng. It is a manufacturer of diodes, and their prices are the lowest. Not so long ago he wrote me a price:
CXB3590 3500K CD bin 36v 80CRI (CXB3590-0000-000N0HCD35G): 33usd / pcs;
Ideal 50-2303CR + Ideal 50-2300AN + Reflector KB-D82-90RF, unit price: 4.6usd / set.
IMHO, if you choose the optimal wavelets nanometers, then you can make a combined setup 3000K + 5000K. But I recommend 3500K. See attachment.

Just finished a build ..I wanted some efficiency for seedlings/clones/Mothers and may try them in 4x4 tent (already have a 600w HID) I built two 6 light rectangles that can be daisy chained - this way i can put one 6 light on a bench if needed..cant beat that kingbrite price. I basically have two 6 light builds like Timber Grow Lights for half the cost.

Yep. But I believe this parameter can be neglected. However, if the LEDs show the best performance in a certain color rendering index (CRI), then install them better.
Thanks for the link. Since it's my first build I was only going to use 1 cob, so if I got 1 CXB3590-0000-000N0HCD35G and this driver http://www.ebay.com/itm/252392747208 would that work well?
Sorry I'm only just learning about this stuff. now that I've looked into it I was thinking 1 cxb3590 run at 1400mA. I'd like to add another 3 in the future making a total of 4 cobs, which driver would you recommend for that?
