A few people showed interest in my recent post of my twist on an old favorite sweet treat. This is just my modified version of the basic rice crispy treats, and can be easily modified to your liking. These are very stealth, if I personally see anyone in public eating a brownie I instantly think pot brownie, but nobody looks twice at a rice cripsy treat . Great for an evening in the park or at the lake. In the past I have made cannabutter crispies and mushie crispies but always seperate. These were an instant hit at a private party and everyone has begged for more in the future. The cannabutter kicks in right along with the trip and allows a more relaxed, clear, and focused ride, as well as a great sleep afterwards. The recipe gives you roughly 1.5g of mushies per square when cut into 16 equal sized squares.
5 cups mini marshmallows
5 cups rice crispies, 6 cups if not using the below added cereal
1 cup fruity pebbles or any other flavorful or colorful cereal
1/2 cup cannabutter
1oz Mushies powdered to as fine a dust as possible, I use a coffee grinder. Amount added can be lowered or raised depending on desired results of each dosage without modifying the other ingredients.
Melt marshmallows and cannabutter together over low heat while stirring continuously until completely melted. Once melted mix in the 1oz of mushies then mix the rice cripsies and fruity pebbles into the melted mix, it will become pliable once mixed and it begins to cool. Press into greased pan, let cool 5min then cut and enjoy or store for later. Should be 1.5g of mushies in each square + cannabutter experience at the above rates. I use the "Perfect Brownie" pan the makes it very simple to cut and is also what I cook 90% of my other baked goods in, but you can also make smaller batches or larger batches just adjust the ingredients as needed. You can't taste the mushies at all which everyone really enjoyed and commented on. Store in air tight container or ziplock bags, good for about 4 or 5 days before they get stale even in a container.
