Cracked HPS Bulb - How Dangerous?

Yo everyone,
So i bought a lighting kit the other day, and low did I behold when i unpacked it that the HPS bulb (400w) had a very small, 1.5cm hair-line crack in the outer glass sleeve. How dangerous would it be to run it (would it be worth going back to the store and asking for a replacement?)

The inner runs about 1000' when it fails it could throw 1000' glass everywhere an start a fire.
Id take it right back.
