"Cousin It"-The Afghani Dwarf

I couldn't resist posting a pic of this little green monster. It was a mother plant that donated several cuttings, but I started cutting at it while it was still pretty small. It was under a 150W CFL running 18/6 and after a few months it just started flowering on it's own. It was kind of a scrawney thing when I put it under the 1000W HPS at 12/12, but this is how it looks after 35 days. It's super dense, the entire plant is like one gigantic bud. I call it Cousin It, like the thing from the Adams Family... It's going to finish early, probably within the next 2 weeks.

The other pic of this strain is a cutting from Cousin It that I pruned much more for branchy growth. I took all the cuttings from the first 4 or 5 nodes about 2 weeks before going into flowering and the leftover branches at the top of the plant went crazy. I didn't top this one at all. It looked like a little bonsai tree when it went into the flowering closet, it's been there for 8 days and it's going to produce WAY batter than Cousin It.

The last pic is what this strain looks like when it's a fresh cutting. These 2 just rooted within the last week.

Comments welcome, thanks for stopping by:peace:

i love that 2nd picture. theres a beast under that 1000 Watter. pics of that?
I've been out of town for a few days, just got around to checking back in on the ladies and it's already dark time so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. The "beast" is one of 3 romulan plants that came from a plant that seeded itself. I'm not too crazy about the way they are turning out, but they still have potential. All the fan leaves yellowed almost immediately when it went to 12/12 and the buds got real stretchy, but this is a long flowering strain so we'll see...

I'll post some pics of 'em if they start to look better! They just barely started showing trichomes and they have been flowering for about 40 days now.

Well it looks like it's about that time, the trichs are good and milky and some are starting to turn amber. I'm going to harvest it today, it smells soooo good. It got frosty as hell over the last few days and it is so sticky that there are some gnats that are dead, stuck in the resin. Here are some before pics, I'll post after trimming up later on.:weed:

It's done, hangin to dry now. I didn't expect it to amount to much, but it made some nice fat buds. The 4 big ones are dense as hell, so they will stay pretty fat when they shrink up. It'll probably amount to 1/4 to 1/2 ounce dried of gooey, stinky, kushy, tasty homegrown goodness.

Now I can really compare the results of 250W VS 1000W on the same clones that came from the same mother. The buds grown under the 1000 were not only more dense, but WAY fatter. I grew some nice little nugs with that 250, but they don't compare to what the 1000 is doing so far! This is the first thing I have been able to harvest since getting the 1000, much more to come!
