Right the plan is too be taking some cuttings this week, keeping them in propagator till they root and then putting them in a homemade hydroponics system in 5cm net pots and jiffy pellets and i have searched and not been able to find the answer too the following......................
1. when i re-pot my cuttings in to my 5 gallon pots, how will i be able re-pot, just i don't understand how I'm going to get the roots out of the smaller net pot and put them in bigger net pots???
2. I'm am keeping the cuttings as small as i can due to my box only being 3x3x3 and i will be having them in here for the duration of the mothers in flowering (8-9 weeks) will i be able to keep them small enough??
3. i was thinking of just maybe using the jiffy pellets and wedge them in some how, will this be possible??
Comments needed please?:lol::lol:
Peace!

whatsup wiimb, I've done what your talking about. My experience was with the jiffy pellets as well. If your planning on going hydro with these clones I would cut them and use rockwool or something along those lines right into the hydro system. Switching mid way is risky, it puts a lot of stress on the plants. I've done it this way also, going from a jiffy pellet to hydro. If your still goin this way make sure you gently wash off ALL of the dirt from your roots, otherwise root rot will be knocking at your door. I would also take a few more cuts just to be sure they don't all die (i would say prepare for 25% not making it). #3 Do not, use the jiffy pellet with your hydro net pots, my experience they're not a good hydro medium (they either absorb too much water rotting the roots, and when i tried to dry them out a bit they dried up the roots as well). Good luck!

Well, transplanting between my veg cabinet and my flowering cabinet was a major concern for me as I wanted to cause as little stress as possible. My solution is in my sig below, I use my veg cabinet and totes to first clone in and then to veg in. Then they go directly over into the flowering cabinet. By using the same size net pot, even though this is inconvienant and huge in my little veg chamber, it allows me to simply swap stuff around. The system works from seed and from clone with a medium of Grodan Rockwool cubes of varying sizes that are designed to transplant from one cube to another.

Anyways......................info is below and if you get confused or have questions on my systems just shoot me a PM or leave a post

(Just a noob trying to grow some DANK!)
