Could use a little cloning help.

I have some Chem-Dawg clones I cut 6 days ago. I don't have any root tips peeking through the Rapid Rooter cubes yet but really didn't expect to see any, but where I dipped them in Clonex gel which I always go a 1/4" higher than I set them. This time all the clones have a mass of roots in that 1/4'' above the cubes, I don't want to take the dome off cuz the roots will die and I can't leave them in the dome or they will rot. Does anyone know if I could pot them now or should I still wait and get a good bottom root system going? Thanks for taking the time to hear my problem and any help would be great:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Using the Stinkbud cloner when I am transferring to dirt my roots are in mid air, then I take the plant and plant it. So no rockwool at all, takes a few days then you see them kick into action.

I don't know shit about using rockwool and this shouldn't be taken as an answer. Just to show you that I just plant bare roots into dirt.

hey bob ive found that chem dawg is a really easy plant to work with. so if you havn't seen her versatility in the past them you will soon. she grows extremely fast and i have been sitting trying to find ways NOT to make it work because i've had 100% success so far. im sure you would be fine either way would work. if they dont have prominent roots yet then wait until they do. but ive planted at first signs of roots with no trouble. you can leave em and let em root a bit more just make sure you water the cubes and watch them and keep the tray that they are in dry. i use clonex too so there's no problem there.

if i were to chose one i would probably transplant it. how tall is the plant how many nodes? after you plant it just soak it and you'll be fine.

you can check my grow journal and my posts to see the step by step cloning process i use. like i said i've had 100% success so far. (knock on wood) so feel free to ask any questions about the process id be happy to help.

ps you did the right choice growing chem dawg it's one of my favorite plants in every way. check out my journal for some pics on its 4th week of flowering. hope this helps your decision!
