What's up rollitup! I've been a long time lurker, like 10+ years lurker. I've always been interested in growing herb but never did. Over the years I've gone through all kinds of posts and gained a lot of knowledge so to everyone in these forums thank you!
Ok here we go. So my first grow was cut short during flower. I had 5 plants and yielded about 80 grams wet. They were awesome and coated in hairs and Crystal's I'll add a picture I the end of this post.i was only 5.5 weeks into flower. 1 week being the waiting week. All in all it was a great learning curve.
Now for my second grow. I have 1 plant hoping to god it's not a Male and have a good feeling it's a female. It's about 7 weeks old from germination.
I started it out in a 1 gal container about half full with seed starting mix from home depot. To me it seems like a great loomy soil to start with that has no nutrients added. Then I transplanted it into 5 gal bucket with fox farms ocean forest soil amended with perlite at about 3.5 weeks from germination.
From the start it has been under a 400w viparaectra led light. The light is amazing and doesnt make my closet hot as sh**. The light cycle was 16/8 veg, but as of yesterday is flipped to 12/12 for flower.
The temps in the closet range from about 65 at night to 75-80 during the day. I am not sure the humidity I have a fan in my window that constantly circulates air from the outside so the RH is what ever it is for the day. When the plant first started we got a lot of rain and the humidity was 90+ you could tell the little guy was having issues. You will be able to see the stress in the pictures.
The water I use is RO water from my home RO system. I gave the plant plain water until about around 2.5 weeks then started using fox farms grow big. I make 1 gal and feed it half a gal every 4 or so days for right now until it needs more.
Let me know what y'all think!! I think "she's" happy and growing well! I did top her twice, once when it was at it's 5 node I cut it down to the second or third true node. Then once again when she reached their 5th node I cut her to her 2nd node again. I then tried her down to make it as short as possible about 2 weeks ago and trimmed some fan leaves a few days ago..
Thank you again rollitup,
