i have a 400hps can enyone tell me how much they cost to run on a daily/weekly on 12 hours a day. sorry for the boring question but i needf to know. does anyone know in £.cos its really spinning the meter

depends really on how much your electric costs you per kwh.

Say you pay 15 pence per kwh, then your using 0.4 kwh roughly = 6 pence per hour

if you,ve got less than 5 plants get a 250w HPS. or buy some of thoses low energy bulbs to counter the power use. you know the 20w but puts out 100w of light that should save you some power.

dont know what kind you mean w/m... in england the lite fittings are diff than america ect. question are normal energy saving bulbs the same as them curly flos you can get are thay both flo and good for clones veggin ect...
