cost comparrison of GH 3 part vs vitalink 2 part feed

I am trying general hydroponics as I've heard good reviews and so far I agree, the nutes seem to be pretty good, can't say till I've compared yield though.

Vitalink is just as good though, it is only lacking magnesium compared to the GH mix which is easily solved.

Now on to the cost. Vitalink costs £10 for 1l of their A and B feed in vegg. You use 4ml/l

GH costs £30 for their grow bloom and macro nutes and they are used at roughly 3ml/l, 2ml/l and 1ml/l

Vitalink can thus make up roughly 250l of feed for £10

GH would cost roughly £20 to make up the same mix

In flowering I will be using GH but for vegg I don't see why I should be spending twice as much per grow. We will see, I will be using vitalink in vegg in future...

You can't compare costs on how much they tell you to use. It's about concentration levels and how much actual liquid plant food you need to get to your desired EC.

Try using your TDS meter, crunch some numbers and please get back to us with some accurate information.
