Here is the recipe I use for making cookies. The procedure for making the cannabutter can be found elsewhere, so I'll leave that out. If you make your cookies the approximate size of Nabisco Vanilla Wafers, you can pack them in a box of same & perhaps feel safe traveling on the highway with them on your vacation. I would not try to take them on a commercial flight.
Basic Cookie Recipe
1 C cannabutter, softened to room temp
2 1/4 C sifted flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 C brown sugar
3/4 C white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp baking soda/1 tsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla
1 TBL cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cardamom
½ tsp nutmeg
-Preheat oven to 375F
-Sift flour and salt together, set aside
-Cream the sugars with the cannabutter
-Add eggs
-Mix baking soda with hot water, and add to butter mixture
-Now stir in flour and last 4 ingredients
To make the cookies uniform, chill the dough and roll in saran wrap to form a 1" diameter log. Cut the pieces evenly and drop them on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Yields about 6 dozen cookies.
Cool on racks and store in the freezer.
