Here's the dealy-o...

Deep water culture, 2 (14gallon) bins, 600watt Digital, Pure Blend Pro (Grow and Bloom) and that's it. Nothing more extra except mycorrizhal in a plastic bag. But I've been consistently over ferting (i think). The Bin on the left is Soma's Lavendar and on the right is Afghan Kush and my F1 Purple. They did look a lil' worse than these pics from today but still a good explanation would be greatly appreciated.0526101627.jpg0526101634.jpg0526101628a.jpg0526101626.jpg0526101632.jpg0526101633.jpg0526101629.jpg0526101626a.jpg0526101628.jpg0526101628b.jpg0526101629a.jpg

Ph stays between 5.8-6-2 in my flowering room and my water is from the tap with a ppm of 30-34 ppm.

How long have they been flowering? It is normal for older fan leaves to turn yellow, brown, & fall off as the plant uses their energy to produce buds.

I guess Ph because of the Purple stems on the yellow leaves. Yellow is the sign of lack of Nitro or depletion as mentioned with "length or time flowering"
Hydro is best kept in the 5's and should barely reach or at the very bottom of the 6's----I am sure you have a good calibrated meter---right?
You buds though smaller look either done because they are brown looking from my end over here or you got Mold?
If you got Mold and you are cutting in there I give em 10 days before they are all infected or dead! I hope it is not the case. If that happens you need to clean your grow room and tools like they were exposed to Tuberculosis! Serious!!
Try if you can making up your h2o separate and check Ph after you add all nutes. I make my H20 in a 20 gal trash can after the water sits over night to blow off chlorine, add some nutes check PH and then bring down with Buffered Ph down as I have found you should wait if you can a day as the Ph will continue to drop in that H20 with the Acid in it---I have found. So I mix it after sitting one day then I let it stand hours or overnight pending when I made the H20 and then chek again. I shoot for 6.5 In soil---so sometimes I make it 6.5 and check it later and it is 6.2-6.0 so check that maybe that is happening to you.
Thinking 5.5 is going in the tank and it is soemthing else?

Some folks would rather put down others, rather than explain "why" they think their opinion superior.

Be very wary listening to this guy. He's read one book and thinks he's God's gift to gardening.

I somewhat agree. Could you please tell us "why" we should be wary? Besides the ego thing.....

Because there is a ton of misinformation surrounding our hobby.

And a lot of folks that will take as gospel whatever they hear from inexperienced friends.

My favorite story is the guy that came to a site I was posting on, wondering why his plant died, suddenly.

It turned out a friend had told him the CO2 in soda pop(Mountain Dew) would help his plant grow.

It didn't help.

Yeah man, didn't you know paint chips and drywall powder make your buds hella tasty! I call it 'contractor grade'. :D :p

I guess that would explain why those 'jellybeans' I planted last week have not sprouted yet. The dude that sold them to me said they were the lastest in 'colored seeds'.

Thanks for everyone's insight. I have been having drifting ph but really it ain't till it gets close to water changing time, which is every week. I am going into the 6th week of flowering on Sunday. I'll change the water on Sunday and continue to monitor the PH. Has anyone heard anything about cutting down the strength of Pure Blend Pro? I barely give my bins any PBP, maybe a couple drops for ten gallons. Let me know if u guys have heard anything about this?
