you gotta use some heat to burn your buds when smokin' them and take flight? so you need some heat to grow them just right:weed:

bigger the light and wattage, the more heat. its science....

but....If you're talking about the caliber of grows taking place here then heat shouldn't even be brought up as much as it always does because most people have their cooling situation down if they know what they're doing so HID or LED its all preference to each individual grow and comfort. LED's are more efficient it seems like with the actual watt output and just has the most badass glow to them. Let the LED and HID companies do the arguein' bickering and false comparing of shit that doesn't matter to each individual so they can sell their shit, as for us we just have one purpose...and that's to grow an amazing plant. who cares about the "cheezey flames" its not about being stylish and having the best looking grow room of all time just to brag about it and show it off to everyone(sketchy). who cares?! its all about the finished product...not bragging rights. people will compliment on your grows and even more so of the happy people that get to enjoy what you created and that should be enough satisfaction right there (plus being on the higher level bongsmilie its not a fashion show. ive read most everyone on heres LED grow journals and they all have one thing in common, they are amazing happy people and truly care about their plants. no need for anything but smiles around these parts of the interwebzzzzz

if all the cheap ass LED's came from the USA would they get as much scrutiny? i wonder about that because of the patriotism. from growers that know their shit...absolutly. learn from experience, not the haters that have one sided biased answers

rambling.....first smoke session in almost 6 months!!! glad to be off papers and able to use papers to roll up again! :bigjoint:

I am someone who speaks my mind and say what is on it, if I am too blunt for you then tough, I am honest and forthright and I call it like I see it. You seem to mistake constructive criticism and honest opinions for venom.

I have however noticed that people are overly nice to the point that a bit of reality would benefit some. Especially in becoming better growers, that includes myself. I am not in favour of being nice for the sake of it, I think the hammering LED growers got over the few years has made you all too sensitive to any form of honest criticism. I see guys congratulating each other for growing utterly average weed and wonder if that helps or keeps the bubbled illusion??

I am the one that pointed out that what you said was an opinion, not the reverse, And then stated my opinion. You are the one taking offense, not I. I just pointed out that maybe people are defensive because most of stuff you spew is done in a negative way. I don't care either way but don't get all upset when it is pointed out to you.

to critique something is to give you're input and opinions bro, yes, constructive criticism by helping others by your opinions to further their grows by you voicing them in this situation is absolutly not what you are doing. i said enjoy the papers as a pun, i'm only saying this in regards of thinking you're using even more sarcasm as which ways i like to smoke, i own many percs, volcano vaporizer, all sorts of beautiful hand pieces and bubblers....yes i will still smoke joints and blunts...if that's not what you meant then my mistake. either way...theirs enough negativity in this world so try and spread the positive, in a positive tone "mr. tough love" :weed:

this persons thread was in regards of which should he get, the solar storm or multiple solor flares. you said you dont know why people buys them and your reasons were they run hot and tacky flames, alongside being expensive (which you don't know if money is even an aspect of the whole thing) your input about different lighting choices was legit but im sure the guy has already looked into it as he has narrowed the choices to those two options. who knows man its all in good fun regardless. internet bickering is lousy, the goal is the beautiful sweet leaf. peace to all :leaf:

Yeah I think you misunderstood my intention, it was genuinely...enjoy the papers.

And yes I do have a sarcastic sense of humour and as we all know that is sometimes "lost in translation" on the interwebz but I'm not going to change my nature because max has a sensitive side. There are many on here that appreciate that type of humour, you can't please everyone.

Especially not passive aggressive types who blurt out disapproval over an opinion about flames and heat of a certain panel. It's lame and immature.

Anyway enjoy the love, weed and forum...
