I'm contemplating a basement grow. Forced air central heating system. There is an existing 6" line to an external vent. Everything is wrapped in insulation pretty big time. This huge 2' pipe runs the length of the house getting smaller every time a 6" comes off. One of them runs outside! I'm going to assume that it's 2 pipes wrapped in insulation and I only see the end.
Should I attempt to tap that pipe to run my external air vent?
Could I be venting directly into the house on accident?
It's a stucco house so I don't want to poke a new vent hole . . . but I will! Very limited air holes in the basement right now.
