Confused please HELP???

I have just harvested my first grow... I wouldn't say sucessfully, because my chickens ate half my plant up, but I still got about 2 ounces off 3 females... My confusion comes in... Should I grow my next batch (which I have now made a closet, so no chickens) in dirt or should I go to the expense of hydro??? I need some help from the experts, I started tryin to grow my own, because of money verses quality!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

hydro or soil is fine as long as you do it properly...

i just converted 2 ebb&flow so much easier less problems and i made my own almost everything was from home depot and not really expensive my system holds 8 plants i spent maybe 150-200 wich includes all nut not including light i had it from dirt bag days

if have little experience with growing go with soil
buttt
if you have done your research and feel ready for hydro
it will get the job done faster and with better quality(more problems can occur although)
