Confused on color of tricomes

Can someone help me please.This is my fifth harvest and ive yet to see any of my tricomes turn amber.They will turn a milky color but no amber.I know im not taking them to soon I always let them go longer I think than I should.Im growing thai,g 13 haze and some other dank that I got a couple of seeds out of.I use the best of the best everything yet still im not pleased.I use fox farm mdeium as well as fox farm nutes. Any info on the tricomes issue would be very helpful.Im using a 30X magnifying glass.

If you never see amber trichs, then you are harversting too early. Aside from a few strains that naturally have amber trichs to begin with, all of them turn amber with time - nothing else. Sativas can take up to 16 weeks to finish.

pretty much how i understand it as well.

how long did you flower them for? how healthy are the leaves? i've a girl that looks liek she should be a perfect smoke, but she still looks as healthy as can be so she's keepin on growing
