I was in Walmart shopping today and I inexplicably caught myself in the light bulb section looking at CFL's. Before I knew it I was at the checkout stand paying for yet another new CFL bulb...

I am posting this here in hopes others will learn of the addictive nature of CFL's and learn to control it.

lol whenever im walking in ACE or any hardware store as soon as i see the lightbulb section i scan for the biggest,most efficient cheapest cfl i can find lol standing there looking like an idiot,reading all the info on the bulbs box lmao you can practically tell the people who use CFLS for growing(there in the light bulb section usually studying cfls boxes for light specs)cus who the hell cares what the light spectrum is if your just using it for light

i have a light setup that holds 10.. and im still looking for ways to add y splitters and more cfls...im more of a y splitter junkie than anything. them shits is like legos.

My first grow is with 4 x 18W 240V Fluorescent Tubes. They seem to be goin pretty well through Veg Period.. but I don't know if that'll do for the flowering period!?? Can I get by with what I have for flowering, but put the lights reeeally close to the top of the plants?

How big is your space psychordist? Ideally you'll want 50w per square foot...probably a little more with cfl's. My cab is 1.6 sq ft and I'm running 125w.
