i have a mico gro going in a rubbemaid tote (just one tote not two put together) and it's REALLY loud! i have just one fan controlling all the airflow by exhausting out the side while the intake is passive. the problem is that the fan is really loud; its a 4" 120 volt A/C axial fan from radioshack and it sounds like the air coming from the heat vent in my ceiling so ive been thinking of doing one of two things: 1 buy an air purifier to cover the sound while simultaneously keeping the air clean and also help with odor control; 2 buy two (one for intake the other for exhaust) ultra quiet 120mm pc case fans like the noiseblocker-XL1 or a noctua model. i already have two 4" holes cut in the tub thats why im thinking of buying 2 of them plus i dont think there as strong as the one im currently using.
so what would you do? thanks in advance.

I have an ionic breeze turbo in my room with the plants in the closet. I'm going to wait and see how long it works before the plants overpower the purifier.
If you want the quietest computer case fans in the world, here are some magnetic bearing fans.

Wow, that looks great! Perfect for a rubbermaid grow!

thank you both; i already have my odor control in check but that is still good advice to give anyone. so i went and got the air purifier and my problems are solved; it works great and totally disguises my grow.
