Computer Desk Stealth CFL Grow Box

Hey everyone, I've been reading the forums here for a good long while before I decided to make my own CFL stealth grow. It's just a normal computer stand
except for the computer compartment is now a small grow box. This is more of an experiment with a bag seed to get the hang of things before I ditch out
money for good seeds (maybe autoflower due to such a small space or regular seeds with alot of LSTing). Using four 20watt 6400k CFL lights for veg right now,
switching to six 26watt 2700k CFLs for flowering, isn't much light but I'm working with what I've got, temps were a huge issue from day one. Only have 1 PC fan in the back top for exhaust and a hole in the bottom for a passive intake. I'll upgrade the venting later down the road whenever I can.

These are the plants at 22 days old. Can anyone explain the curling on the little girl (hopefully)? About once a week I feed with MG nutes (not the best I
know, but it's just an experiment to see how well I'll do). At first I thought maybe it was too much nutes but I don't even use 1/4 strenghth in fear of
burning them. Any thoughts? Thanks

Over watering & over feeding.

Damn my plants are the same number of days and way bigger. Dude with how compact that is I can't imagine you yielding anything more that just fun and practice.

Hey thanks for the quick reply. I'll let the soil get good and dry before I water again. How often would you suggest I feed them? Once a week too much?

Yeah I thought they were a little small too. Can heat stress out the plant and cause slower growth? I would love to grow with MH/HPS but the space is too small, I'd end up burning the plants when they outgrew my box.

Don't water with that mentality. Thats what makes plants die. Too much water.

Do not water "every few days" of "once a week"...... Water when the soil on the surface is drying out a few inches down. Some days it may be humid and some days may be dry. This fluctuation makes it impossible to make watering an exact science. I am new to this info too. I've given plants too much water.

And I hope your running 12/12 seed to flower. You might make it to day 50. lol

lol I haven't even switched to 12/12 yet cause I bought 6400k lights before 2700k. My plan was to get a 3 socket fixture and wire it to the top of the box and move the plant down instead of moving the lights. With y splitters I could run 6 lights with enough grow room (I think) but I don't have high hopes for this plant, it's so small compared to others at the same age. Thanks for the watering advice, I knew most of it but being the first plant I get excited about it? I don't know, lol.

I just have to ask: why go through all this trouble? Why not just buy a 250 or 400 watt light and grow in a closet or a tent? Why are you tryig to grow in such an impossibly tiny space? I mean it seems to me that the only reason to try and do this isto hide it from parents or in a college dorm both of which are un-cool situations. I just don't understand why anyone would try this anyway.

I like to be different, not looking for any big yield by no means. Everyone ends up getting a 250 or 400watt hps and I know they're the best choice but not everyone has enough space to grow with those (heat issues). I've seem some impressive PC case grows and I've got double that space. I don't live with my parents nor a college dorm, I simply like the idea of small stealthy grows.

ok so i googled pc case pot grow. okay ic. here is a suggestion, start from clones if you can that way you can maximize the space.. I still don't understand why you would grow in a place where you needed to do that but to each his own.
