Compraing Lights 400w hps vs Fluorecents

Currently using 3 42'' shop lights from walmart with daylight bulbs for veging
grow area is 3x6 closet

which is the best lights?

HPS is always the best option....EXCEPT.... You really gotta have some sort of ventilation system here, or it will get way too hot in a 3'X6' closet. If you cant get some ventilation go with flouros. I would personally try to by all means necessary to get venting so I could use the HPS.

I grow in my bedroom closet would a 12v fan + window cracked and closet door cracked be enough ventilation? I rly dont wana run tubing or anything...

IMO a 400w would work fine in a 3x6,
just get a bigger fan

Iv got a 400w and a 600w HPS in a closet which is 6ft long x 2ft wide x 7ft high and it gets hot man. You have to have real good ventilation even just for a 400w. I have 4x250cfm Fans venting air in and out.

ive got a 400 watt hps in a 4' x 2' closet with nothing but a little fan on the floor and yea it gets hot as shit but the buds grew just fine

I don't know if its to late or not but I'm pretty sure that last link is for the protective lens that goes over the fixture to protect the tubes. That link (or price) is not for the fixture itself. Someone correct me if I'm wrong because thats a great deal if its for the fixture itself.
