Compost teas

This will be my first hydroponic grow and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried compost tea in their system. While growing in soil I top dress and feed my plants teas. Just wondering if I could use the teas instead of plastic bottles nutrients?

In my opinion introducing anything organic to a Hydro Rez should only be done by an accomplished hydro grower that want to go organic/aquaponics.

People either go all in full organic or run a mineral salt setup with a sterile res in hydro. You don't need plastic bottles, plenty of great nutrients out there for hydro in powdered form. I would not recommend organics for your first hydro grow, I'd go with something very simple and complete like megacrop. Good luck to you Sir!
