Completely new and looking for advice, which is much appreciated. Read so many websites, forums etc and ending up back to square one as I settle on something then read it’s wrong and doesn’t work etc.

Do I need anything else?

Seeds are OG kush auto

What is the best soil that is available in the uk? I know there is no right answer but in terms of a beginner anything that has worked and been used regularly I will try. Have heard B&Q have a decent one?
Do I need to mix it with anything?

I read starting off in cups and small pots isn’t ideal then I read it is. Shall I start off small? What sizes are ideal and when do I transfer?
Any advice on any of this will be really helpful! :)

if his is your first grow, do you want to keep it as simple as possible to st\art with?

if yes, then get a tomato grow bag and some tomato food, thats all you need. you can get some pearlite too but its not nessesary

My first grow was in coco loco. Its ph buffered, has 3 weeks of nutrients mixed in to get the seedlings over the hump. Grows like coco, you treat it like soil. Its phenomenal stuff. Seeds go straight into it in jiffy pellets. Just dont over complicate things or over think it.

Great, thanks for the advice! I defo need to stop over thinking it

Be careful with germination, keep your seeds warm and moist but not wet. Germ directly in either a rapid rooter or in seed starting media. Starting in something like a solo cup is perfect, just don't overwater. Overwatering is the #1 mistake new people and also some experienced people make.

Yeah this is something I need to read more into, especially how much to use and how long to keep lights on etc!
