Compact flouresent bulbs, mothers and clones

Is that gonna be ok to use a C F B for keeping a mother and clones happy..My chambers 3ft wide 1.5ft deep and as high as i want it. wanna keep a heated propergator with my clones in it and a mother under the same light.

CFBs will work fine.. just make sure u have enough of them.

Cool im gonna line my little framework with mylar and get a couple of 20-25 watt cfb's at the top 1 above my propergator and 1 above my mother...

Meant to say the reason i wanted to just have the lamps hanging of a hook was so that i can lower the one above the seedlings/clones so they dont stretch too much then i can keep the one above the mother right at the top and bring it down accordingly, just gonna put them on 18/6, whats a good thing to pot my mother in as my veg/flower set up is hydro. cheers.

Yes CFLs are great.. I recommend not wasting your time with any CFLs other than the 42 watt or larger (150 watt equivelant) CFLs...

keep them very very close to your plants.. less than 1 inch from the foliage.. any further than 1 inch and they really become useless.... unless you are only using them for CLONES (without roots) then the light can be several inches from the foliage.. cheers
