is anyone using compact flourescent lights
Do they work?
are they better or worse than hps
and whats the conversion rates

dude.. search around on the site. there are TONs of people using CFLs and HPS's you just need to read.

Perhaps there is a misunderstanding. The typical HPS produces about 100 lumes per watt. The typical CFL people on this site use produces about 65 lumens per watt.
