Compact Composting Ideas?

Hey Y'all, I'm currently in a place where I don't have a ton of outdoor space for composting and can't bring too many more pest bugs our way.
I was thinking about using maybe a couple 5 gallon buckets to throw the stuff in with a little bit guano and manure to get it composting good.
Has anyone done this or similar? Looking for ideas, methods, advice please!

Side note: we want to move in the next couple years where we can grow more plants and have a lower cost of living aka land for sale cheaper. If anyone has any ideas of cities and states that would be great, we are considering somewhere in Missouri!

Look into either vermicomposting or bokashi, you can do both indoors in limited space, both are pretty neat!
