Colorado -it's legal, almost

Well, we passed ammendment/proposition 64 and marijuana will become legal for recreational use for up to 1 ounce, and up to 6 plants can be grown in a safe/secure environment. It won't actually become legal until January or so, but here we go.

I would like to request a separate section for legal outdoor growing so that the laws can be followed and procedures used that keep everyone out of trouble. I haven't touched a joint in 35 years, so this is kind of exciting. There are things like seed sources and selection that would help. I have a lot to read through and have 2 months to do it, and look forward to joining in the fun with others in my area. I'm an experienced gardener and can't wait till spring.

All well and good till zero the hero starts sending in the Feds like in Ca, like he said he wouldn't do in 2008.

Think it really matters what the 'people' want, or vote for?

Yes, yes it does. If it didn't matter then it wouldn't have gotten this far. If the people didn't vote for medical marijuana then there wouldn't be 18 states that have started it up. If the people didn't want it then it wouldn't have been on the ballot. If the people didn't start this whole thing then we would still be waiting on a kick start. But people have made headway on this thing, Rome wasn't built in a day, neither was L.A., at least we are building towards a future where marijuana WILL be legal eventually. I don't like the government either, and I have been through the courts and penitentiaries, harassed by piggies all over the country for my beliefs and opinions. I am thankful to everyone who has pushed forward through all the hardships and harassment that it has finally started! Be patient, read NORML, write your congressman, write your governor, write to everyone. Voice your opinion because it is all we have against a tyrannical government!

Is it to be legal in a true legal sense or is it to be legal in the same old "hey it's illegal, desipte it being federally illegal" sense?
