Cole Train, Super Lemon Haze, Sharksbreath, Rocklock, Strawberry CoughxDeepChunkPurps

Feel free to post at any time in my journal! This is my first grow journal. To be quite honest this is my first grow and I don't think that I know what the hell I'm getting myself into. Stuff adds up quick. The grow room is a walk in closet that is in the process of being sealed. My roomate has some girls growing and is using my closet and equip temporarily until I get my girls started. I ordered 10 Super Lemon Haze off Attitude and got 3 free seeds. The Strawberry Cough x Deep Chunk Purple is a seed that came out of one of the most dense and frosty purple nugs that I have seen in my life. I am trying to germinate the Strawberry Cough, Rocklock, Cole Train, and the Sharksbreath and veg them into mothers. I am using the damp paper towel method with a ppm of around 2 and a pH of 6.0. Between now and the time it takes for these 4 strains to mature, I will buy a 4x4 tray and res and will make an ebb and flow with hydroton using a 264gph pump. I am going to wait on the SLH's since they grow to be over 5 feet tall. I will grow these up when, my roomate transplants his girls of my veg room and into flower, I completely light proof my closet, I get my ebb flow going, and once the other indica mothers are mature.

New piece I just got yesterday from Wicked Sands, I had to throw it in there.

Day 1:

Cole train, Sharksbreath, Rocklock, Strawberry Cough x Deep Chunk Purple seeds placed in between two damp paper towel layers that were lightly folded over. A bowl was placed on top and a black shirt was used to light proof the seeds. The plate was placed in the 70 degree veg room under the tray. Fan is set to 70 for day and 60 at night

Nutrients: 5mL Sensi Grow A + 5mL B

Additives: Root Excelurator 2.5mL, B52: 2mL, Voodoo Juice: 2mL

pH 6.0

EC: 1.2-1.4

Im interested in that SC x DC

i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be viable

Day 2:

Seeds still have not germinated. They are being kept under wet paper towels @ 70-80 degrees
pH = 5.7
10L tap water
2.5mL root excelurator
2mL voodoo
2ml B52
4mL Sensi Grow
EC: 1.2 @ 600ppm (the tap over here is 500)

Ventilation has been set up today. 25ft of r=8 insulated 8" diameter tubing. I highly recommend the r factor of 8 since it completely blocks out any harmonic sound through the tubing. The tube goes out the crawl space in the ceiling and out through a port on the top of the roof. I will probably move the fan into the roof so that air will be sucked through the reflector and blown out the roof. This way there will be about 5ft less of tubing so less resistance.

no need for the led,your still in veg.I'd steam clean that rug,then place something on top,like black&white poly.Gotta have fresh air comming in.

My buddy is using my equip until the room is complete. I think his UFO is for vegging the DWC bubble bucket because she doesn't fit under the reflector. We actually have a steam cleaner. Thats a good idea, i think i will cover the carpet and clean everything up. As far as fresh air I have a window fan pinched in between the sliding glass door for now. I think I will buy a 10" metal duct connector and seal it through the door to allow negative pressure. Ultimately I want to make a pvc tent with a role of mylar.

Are there any other additives that I can give to promote germination? AN calendar uses Tarantula, Piranha, and Humic Acid. Are these worth it?

Got distilled water. Added 4 gallons of distilled water with 2.25mL of B52, Voodoo, and 3mL of root excelurator. 7mL sensi grow. pH = 5.8, ppm is 100. Lifted the bowl off the plate and the sharksbreath germinated!

Moistened paper towel and two seeds broke, the other seed looks like it is cracking but the small strawberry hasn't germinated. In the photo it looks like the one on the very left is smaller than the others, I hope it's not premature. I have found that distilled water does nut have pH fluctuations like tap water but it's damn hard to adjust the pH. 1 drop of acid changed the pH from 6.0 to 5.7

Picked up a 4x4 tray and made the ebb and flow drain and fill fittings with a 40G res. Tomorrow I will get started on the stand. Also bought a gal of fulvic acid

Cole train and Sharksbreath were transferred into small rockwool cubes in hydroton baskets and are being kept damp and are placed far under a 1000W to prevent burning. The temps are around 70

Today decided to drain the res:
3Gal distilled water
3mL root excelurator
2.25mL B-52
2.25mL Voodoo
9mL Sensi A + 9mL B
ppm:250
pH 5.8
I took a cardboard wine box and placed reflective tape all around the inside and took a buddies T5 light fixture and raised it with cinderblocks for the rooted seedlings. The other two seeds still haven't germed. The tray stand was constructed yesterday with a crossbeam and 18 L brackets and 3/4" weatherproof ply. 2X4 legs are 17" tall. Next step will be to completely clean and gut the closet and light proof it with mylar while still providing negative pressure.











As of 4/18:

made a quick custom drip system for the seedlings today. From now on, fuck da bullshit. I'm germinating 10 super lemon haze seeds and am going to put all of my focus on these. I'm purchasing an RO with a CO2 tank and going balls in on these girls.

i have some attitude freebies about to hit the ebb/gro........
im wondering about the stretch and flow time for rocklock......sharksbreath........and cole train...........any help?

Rock lock stayed pretty fat, did well with the 4 top method. Once in 12/12 she stretched up just a little, maybe a foot or so.
