Coco watering frequency for transplanted clones

I know this question gets thrown around how to water coco, but I haven't seen much clone watering specific information. And the little I found was split between you can't over water coco and need fresh water, daily pouring to run off to wash any salt build up, and to bring more oxygen to the roots.

The other side say you can overwater coco while transplanting and should allow wet dry cycles so the roots can go searching for water. Especially if the plant is going from Dixie cup to 5 gal for example, they say you have to be super careful watering it.. then seen others say hammer it with water until 20% runoff 1x per day.

Can anyone chime in on what the better method is?

I've did a successful coco run 6 years ago but I can't quite remember what I did during the cloning stage. I do remember watering them 1x per day but this was later on when they were bushes and not small.

You can do either or but you can definitely over water until roots are established. I water like soil until they take off because I'm lazy. They will probably grow faster if you water more frequently

I fill tray with tap water/hormone and let root riot plugs wick water and stay wet. day 14 I plant in one gal coco 1.8ec maxibloom with pool shock for sterile.

Freshly buffered coco never dried or flushed. The first feeding flushes out the calmag.

I feed twice a day to runoff to keep sterile and yes fresh oxygen. No one told me how fast it depletes but I assume its quick.

I switch to flower week 4 or 8 depending on if its a bigger or smaller tent. So thats how I ease to the end from this point. I feed 8x a day when I flip.

Ive found one gal to cover a 2.5x2.5’ canopy pretty well. Your overall routine may very but thats just an example of what my clones were fine with.

I may be overfeeding but I found no ill effects feeding straight 1.8ec. My clones tend to get sick if I drop ec so idk.

Like stated above I treat it like promix until I see dem roots poking out the bottom then it's once a day until they get bigger then 2x then 3x per day
