Coco seed starter to soil

I started my estatic gelatos from FastBuds on the 18th and decided to do a coco seed starter an inch over it’s actual medium and the outcome was great. I was able to brush over the coco and still have control of germination without having to use a cup for 18 hrs and then another 18 with a napkin and chance hurting the fiber hairs. They popped open in 12 hrs so Tomorrow they should come up the soil.

Yes a seed will germinate without paper towels. The paper towel is just an unnecessary step thought up by some stoner and has spread across the cannabis growing scene.

In the future try just planting the seeds directly in soil without using a seed starter. You'll find that you're successful as well.

I know that soil is fine. I just used the starter coco cause it’s very light. That way I can dust it over to see if it popped or not without damaging the seed itself. I didn’t feel like adding a boost of nitrogen to soil that was organic without the amendment because I’m trying this one organically at least they say the Black Magic 555 is organic anyways.

There autos so I put a little less than half of what the bags call for per regular gallons on the bottom third and then the rest is just roots organics 707 and perlite with nothing in it
