Ok i have canna coco and GH nutes. I'm confused about the feeding schedule, some have told me every day, others tell me every other watering and more still tell me 1 day nutes, 2 days plain water. I just planted my rooted clones and i'm new to coco so kind of worried i'm going to kill them without good info. Please help. Feeding with lucas formula.

for coco, u used a modified lucas. 6/9 micro/bloom is what you need.

start off at half doses until 8-10inches.

The strength isn't my concern, it is the frequency of feeding that i need details on. Do i feed at every watering, every other watering etc?

It depends on the strength you feed at.

If you want to feed heavy you feed, water, water, feed. If you feed light you can give food with every watering.....with a flush tossed in about every 10-15 day's or so.

The lucas formula is used from veg to flower in one strength, so strength shouldn't be the question as it's standard. I'm looking for someone who uses the formula at the designated levels and how frequently they feed.

In my experience, I've found that the plants prefer to be fed a lighter solution with every watering, rather than alternating with water. If you do choose to alternate with water and you are using tap water, make sure to pH your water. Too much changes back and forth in pH and nutrient solution can stress the plant.

I don't use the Lucas formula, so can't help you there, but I have been growing in coco for a couple of years now...I get best results with a light feeding every watering, and the only time I clear water flush is the final watering before harvest. I taper off the flowering nutes the final few weeks to the final flush.

I watered with strait water once and had nutrient deficiency the next day.

I have taken the suggestion of someone else here and started watering like this. Full strength day one. Top off res with pure water. 3/4 strength day two, top off res with pure water. half strength day three. Day four go back to full strength and start the cycle over again. 10% runoff with each watering.

Full strength for me is 900 PPM in flowering.
