This occasion we have Barney's
Runtz Muffin & Blue Sunset Sherbert going in premade coco with 30% perlite which has then added hydro clay about 10% of total volume.

Tent is 2.5x2.5x6 (80cm by 180cm)
Lights for main grow are 2x150W hiroshima panels
2x3gal (12 Litres) Root Pouches
Remo and mycorrhizal addition
Humidifier

Babys just hanging in rooting cubes atm, germinated 4 days ago. Today gonna pick up the medium and proceed to make some cool moves, yay

I'm open to such things as 28-hour day/6-day week, LST, HST, topping, cropping, super mopping, mutilating even (if payed lol), true vertical, photogenic, mainlining, and the list goes on. Hit me! But please be reasonable with time, effort and cost in your proposals or suggestions...
 
your light is way too far away from your seedlings, i don't think ive seen streach so bad
when you pot the3m up, make sur4e you bury them up to the first set of leaves, the stem will form roots and make the plant stronger.
what lights are you useing?
 
Oh but I threw them in the cubes without a proper tail, unopened and left them near surface. The light is near 20K there about 14" so quite enough, it's a floral lamp 3000 kelvin. Today donna re-pot them and submerge a bit but it doesn't matter really since they wont grow straight up. Adjusting roots with next pot...also I have to veg these without the tent for about two weeks more than wanting so gonna bring the first steps a little slower for scheduling. Cheers for the advice though
 
This is the first time I use propagation cubes so I was too careless with those seedlings. Normally I'd put then in clay with a tail, there they always have plenty room for making stem in early days. Too much hydro in the past lol
 
Photo update from transplanting to the first cups. Would been nice to have taller ones so roots would have had medium for deeper planting, I don't want them out the bottom after a few days.
Oh well they'll survive just fine...
A bit overkill sprayer... Water pre-control and some small amount of bio-activating fluids in right after; kelp, aminos and such for the first batch.

My beloved begonia (Ricinifolia white petaled) is going to LOVE this new coco mix. My houseplants get diluted hydro fluids from cycle, also the ever-so-plenty GHE/terra aquatica flora. Some clones in DWC for faster rooting and easier transplant: The stems are not tall, they grow more like sideways, so this human-made crossing can repopulate roots from underneath a broken leaf and new growth on top from it for example. This one 3yo and suffering rootbound and recent removal of leaves besides a new spot to grow upwards some feet or more.

Found that I can fit them in a bucket amid my begonia, with the addition of a bottom riser for condensed humidity from the machine which is now on top of the shelf... Looks neat and the herbs got more room :cool:
Altogether a good tune, conserves energy and makes lighting spread better for each plant type.

Decided to pop one of these as a bonus corner plant because these are my first full-medium plants in over ten years and I dont want to waste too much time nor space. I had a Peyote cookies coming but sadly it didn't make it past the shell...

Damn, almost ruined the seedlings... Humidifier makes no heat, the mist is infact too cool for the babies in that environment with leds. Yesterday I ran it for multiple occasions, sometimes over an half hours at a time which left them shivering. After the night they looked like getting better, such a relief. Also I forgot to make proper spacing for runoff....typical me to mess atleast some things

The others still look poor so I hide them from dear audience for now.
 
Seems it was infact over-fertilization from the coco with the older ones. New grow is stunted, one suffering more than the other. Kinda bad timing for flushing or re-potting so I'll wait a few more days since this time I'm not "running agaist the clock". The burning is severe but can turn away any moment...I have more seeds in case of catastrophe :oops:
 
I Decided otherwise so that there shouldn't exist a risk of loosing any of them. Ran a few deciliters of balanced water through every cup, ph 5.7. The smallest one looked healthy so it got way less to conserve all possible in the medium. A few drops of kelp with a puff of myco in 20ml water and then through a syringe sharing it by flush amount.
Ph was perhaps too high as I guessed, 6.4.
Next, some patient waiting and then making a first cal-mag infused medium and topping most probably.

So it was multiple mistakes...notes for next time:
-Always process the coco coir at least once.
-Poor planting. Also should have shielded the bottoms of the root cubes for longevity.
