Co2 tube questioin

Should I run my tubbing from the tank to the base of the plants? I was thinking I would put little holes in the tubes and let it dispense around the bottom of the the plants.. I had it tied to a oscillating fan before so I would like to try something different..

and can I find a cheap meter to read co2 levels and dispense accordingly?

Go over to the pet store and tell them you are growing plants in a fish tank, I guess there money in that also

But I got a bunch of hoses / splitters with valves and these rock things that I hang above the plants to disperse the C02

You can also run the tubes into the back of your fan and have the fan shoot the C02 around

You want the C02 to be released above your plants. C02 is heavier than oxygen, so releasing it near the bottom of your plants would be counterproductive.

I found that 'misting system' lines sold at home improvement stores work well - they are semi-flexible plastic lines with pre-installed misting nozzles. I find this type of setup to be more accurate than randomly punching small holes in aquarium air lines or something similar.

If you've already invested in a C02 cylinder and regulator...and perhaps a solenoid, flow meter, etc...go ahead and invest in a decent C02 tester or, better yet, a controller.

any recommendations on a C02 controller that isn't crazy exspensive???

Do you have picture of these misters so I can see what your talking about

I have not yet found a reasonably priced controller...pretty pricey stuff is all I've seen so far.

I'm at work so I can't post a pic of the misters but if you go to homedepot.com and search "misting" it should pop up a complete misting system on the first row and then the brass misting nozzles on the second row. That's the stuff I use.

I have the Sentinel CHHC-1, and for $510, it's the best investment I've made for my grow.

Plug my heater, CO2, exhaust fans, and dehumidifier in, set it to what I want it to run, and forget it.

True plug and play.
