ok so i know that co2 is very good for plants but im low on funds rights now and cant afford a co2 tank. So i was cruizin on the internet and came across something for aquariums that puts co2 in the water and it was only like $60 and i was wondering if that would be the same adding co2 in the air but you add it to the water so its like direct injection

so if someone can please answer my question that would be chill

a cheep co2 system is vinegar and baking soda on a drip system

i plan on using it.

have a litter box with baking soda in it and have the drip system dropping vinegar periodically

dont use the aquarium stuff, your better off misting your plants with seltzer, but i wouldnt do that either, as for baking soda vinegar/ yeast and sugar they just arent reliable and i personally have tried the yeast and didnt notice anything, besides you can just get zo0o0oted and bake a cake =) just wait till you get your funds up and get more grow experience and get a tank and regulater on a timer, $300 but its well worth it

Its not very regulated but I experimented with a propane torch (the benz o matic you can buy at home depot for 20 bucks) to give it something. You actually can figure out how much CO2 you put in the air with this method by weighing it before and after because a lb of LP contains so much CO2. I wasn't getting up to 1500 ppm or anything but it seemed to helped. The little results I did get got me to go buy a tank. In theory it is basically the same as using a co2 generator and is a bit easier than a drip system. I will post the formula for figuring out the weight to ppm later. With that formula and ome patience you can do the math to figure out how long you need to burn it. Sorry I just don't have it with me right now.
