CO2 bag with cooltube?

Hello.

I want to add CO2 to my grow tent (5x5x7). I have 3 photo plants going in there. I don't have good air circulation. Exhausting air through cooltube to outside of window with huge fan but i don't have anohter window or source to take fresh air inside. So i am using intake fan to get air from next room but it's not that much considered as fresh air. So i want to add CO2 bag or homemade CO2 generator to my tent. I think would be helpful for plants.

But as i said i am using cooltube for my 1000w HPS. Have really strong exhaust fan sucking all air from my tent. When lights on it's 24-26C inside tent.

Question begins now. Can i use CO2 even my tent is not sealed? If i change my cooltube with regular wing reflector, it's gonna be too hot inside tent. Probably over 32-33C. So i have to use cooltube for sure. But how i can use CO2 with my cooltube and exhaust fan is running?

I also have passive intake. Maybe i can put CO2 generator/bag near the passive intake hole and let CO2 enter grow tent with this way?

co2 in realy used in sealed rooms, a tent can't be considered as an enclosed room, so in my opinion, your just wasting mooney and adding to global warming.
you can get away without much air movement, but you will need to pay attention to how much foliage you have, leaves close together make for many problems.
co2 is used by plajnts during the light hours, then the plant swaps over to breath out oxygen at night and give off carbion dioxide, so take that into account too.
you would do well to have the cooltube sucking heat in and dispersing it into the room with an open window in the room. t6hat should controle the heat and get you air circulation as it sounds like its allready doing.
what heat.temps are we taliking about and what strain are you growing, both of these factor into the situation too

actually cooltube and exhaust fan keeps tent cool very well. i also have 8" fan to circulate air in room but not running it yet because it decreases temp in tent to 20-21C when lights on. even lower than 16C when lights off. So not running it yet.

As i said i ony have one window in that room to exhaust hot air from cooltube to exhaust fan and fan kicks hot air out of house through window. so that's only one window and working for kicking hot air out. I don't have anohter window to get fresh air in. Trying to be happy with next room's air with door open.

I thought it could be good to add some co2 to help seedlings with more food instead of more fresh air.

Growing God's Glue photos under 1k HPS and 5x5x7 grow tent. They are into day 9.

If you are drawing air from your living space, you probably are drawing in enough CO2 without supplementation. "Fresh air" intake only needs to have ambient levels (about 400 ppm) CO2 to work perfectly. As others have suggested, you will not be able to contain supplemental CO2 in your tent the way it is set up.

I can assure you that you won't be containing the CO2 at all since it will seep out of the tent regardless where your exhaust, the good news though is that it will still be plenty enough CO2 if you get two 365 exhale grow bags for your size setup, I have one in my 2x4 tent with 4 plants.

I can and do run the temps higher at plant level but I turned on my AC for a few minutes to get rid of excess humidity in my room and tent since it was above 60% at plant level. That also lowered CO2 levels down from 1500-1600 to what's in the picture.

My second thermometer is all the way at the top of the tent in the middle and above all of my grow lights, the other which is also a CO2 meter is on top of my humidifier.

I have a 8 inch exhaust fan that I repurposed for my tent since my lights are so high up in my tent with my hosing on the outside instead of inside. The two middle lights I had from 2019 the side lights are Fecida full spectrum I bought black Friday last year after last grow wrapped up.

My setup creates negative pressure via the exhaust fan giving my cool intake air from the remaining exhaust tube that I cut from what I put on the fan at the bottom of the tent. I also have a fan controller which let's me bump the fan speed down and decrease noise but my tent is also in my room with a 12,000 BTU AC.

There are two fans pointing up to direct cool intake air directly to the lights as well as circulate the air. I'm going to install another tent fan which attaches to the poll and can circulate directly over the plants soon.

I had two CO2 grow bags in but CO2 would often exceed 2000-3000 PPM and that was outside the tent that I was getting those readings so I bagged it up and hung out out my window since it's winter in NYC still along with double sealing in a black bag it renders the bag nearly dormant. One bag in my setup is enough.

Does it make a difdifference? No clue they seem very happy and healthy.
