Co2 advantages?

Google isn't working on my phone right now so can anybody with 1st hand experience tell me what the advantages of Co2 is please? I heard its supposed to work wonders indoors. I asked the dude at the shop for a price & he told me $500 for the whole setup. 3 days later my boy stops over out of the blue and gives me a Co2 setup for free. All I have to do is spend like $75 for a full bottle.

it depends on your room setup and ventilation..
CO2 is great in a sealed room. I use it and the plants love it..
If you have a lot of fresh air already, as in outside air, then your plants won't suffer from lack of CO2. Still, supplementing would increase their growth rate even more than fresh air.. Fresh air is about 300PPM Co2 and you can supplement to maybe 1500PPM and the plants can use it up to photosynthesize..

Good luck! I remember when i moved into a new rental and found bottle of co2 down there. The bottle was old, but I didn't know how old. When I took it to the shop to exchange it, the dude couldn't believe it.. The bottle was engraved "1969". they still exchanged it.
