I'll be blunt, there are grow rooms on here that are just insanely large and IMHO most likely used for selling/profit... which is not really what I'm trying to get into. Granted theyre beautiful, and have probably supplied me my entire smoking career thanks to the likes of their growers, but I'm well... a rather paranoid smoker/potential grower.
I'm just looking to get my daily fix, smoking about an ounce a month at most... and want no more than a 1-3 plants at a time. (growing in stages to make sure I always have pot, of course)
Problem is, I know NOTHING about growing. The closet is a walkin, about 8 feet high 4 feet wide 6 feet deep. I don't want to jump my electric bill through the roof, and I don't want my townhome smelling like a reggae concert. I hear you need High pressure sodium or whatever for the flowering stage, but what does pot look/taste/effect you like if you just use flurescents? Would I need to section it off for the plants growing, and the plant that's flowering?
Also I hear helicopters do random heat searches for grow rooms (I HEAR) don't give me too much smack talk if it's a complete myth. Anyways, would a small 250-400 watt HPS set off their alarms? I know there are several different forums on here and probably all of the questions I asked have been answered, but I've looked and found nothing and dont want to waste hours looking for something it could take a knowledgable person two minutes to explain.
