Closet Grow....Lighting.

So i am currently working on a small grow in my closet..Im definately gonna spend the money on some MH or HPS bulbs..wat i was wondering is wat are some companys people like for bulbs, and fixtures..i figure ill have 4-6 plants..Would the one 400w MH or HPS work..and im gonna veg them in 4" x 1 1/2" wide rubbermaide containers..so i figured i would use 40 watt - 60 watt cfl on there...so wat do you guys think...this is gonna be grown in soil..

One 400 HPS light will be enough but get a MH light too

would that be to warm for a closet grow...could i just use a large box fan to cool the room...and i saw a cool box at home depot today and it looked good to grow clones in ..its 35 x 19 x 36 for measurements its made by sterilite..looks sturdy...
