I need a simple closet design that won't take up any more than about 4 feet in space

umm,
Hang the light and put the plants under it.
Put an extraction Fan at the top and a desk fan at plant hight.
If that is a 4x4 space, get a 600WHPS if it is 4Sq feet, then a couple of 200W CFLS would be better.
Hope that helps. Look at peoples grows for insperation.
