Closed Environment VS. In and Out Vents

I was watching some urban grower videos and I see he strongly advises you only grow in a closed environment. What are the pros and cons to each? and which one is the ideal growing environment?

A closed environment is going to cost significantly more than a vented system. Consider the cost of buying and running an AC and Dehumidifier, and running Co2 becomes a necessity since there will be no way for the air to be exchanged. A happy medium can be accomplished with the use of a tent, just hook the lower ducts to filters and vent the air out of the top of the tent through an inline fan & filter. I'm guessing you will air cool your light, since this will save you from heat issues. That is just my $.02

I think every single grower will tell you that if you can afford it, a sealed room is the best. You have complete control of the temp., humidity, co2, everything. You can maintain the most ideal growing environments continuosly. I don't grow sealed, but I would like to. I see so many advantages, the only disadvantage is the cost of setting it up. If you have the money to throw down, do it. If not save up and work for it, because your hard work will be rewarded.:bigjoint:
