First off I'd like to say sorry if this post is in the wrong thread.
So a buddy I mine told me its possible to clone fan leaves. I found this interesting bc if u revege you need to keep the fan leaves right? But is it possible for fan leaves to produce roots and start to form into another plant?

Yes you can root a fan leaf, no it will not become a plant. - From a botinist on another site.

To get a plant from a cutting you need stipules, that's where the new growth comes from.
