cloning

for a semi-newbie, would cloning be too much of a trainwreck for me to try or is it fairly do-able? if i were to try cloning, would it be too late for me? would my clones get big enough if i'm outdoors?

Learning how to clone is the key to running a successful operation, and should be done early and often. No it isn't a trainwreck. Mogie has tutorials posted in the FAQ, upper left hand corner of this page. Check out catgirls thread about cloning.
It was hard for me to start until a friend asked me what I would lose if I tried it and it didn't work. I would have lost a branch from the bottom of the plant that I would have cut off and thrown away in a week or so because it wouldn't get enough light to produce any decent bud.
When I finally did get started all of the plants had been put into flowering and I had to revert them back to vegging which takes a lot longer. When I switched them to 12/12 light cycle they were flowering in a matter of days not weeks.
If you force yourself to take at least 2 clones from each plant you have and meet the law of averages, and half your existing plants turn out male, you will have twice the amount of known female plants vegging and ready for your next flowering cycle. VV

thanks. since i'm just starting to clone, i'm gonna try crazy composer's soil cloning method so i don't have to buy any rockwool and shit.
