You should make cuttings in veg state... Cutting in flower will slow down the process... While in flowering i think it is harder for the cuttings to gain root mass because energy is geared towards bud production...
Correct me if i am wrong... =]
But from what i have read, ya cut in veg state... =P
I know that. I just wanted to know if it was less stressful to cut them and then leave them in the dark, or cut them and subject them to 18 hours of glorious simulated sun.
I also was wondering that same question. I cut mine in the middle of the time. Out of the 9 i took only 3 rooted and 2 have lived throught the transplant. Dunno why the third shriveled to almost nothing. But each is a copy of the 2 females i got in flowering. Also i really didnt know what i was doing so im happy =o
I would think having them in the light (low intensity) directly after cutting would promote faster regeneration... I think i would go 12 hours into 18/6 right after cutting... 6 hours of light 6 of rest then continue 18/6...
that you should cut your clones at the begininng of the light cycle, cause it gives it the full 18 hours of light to recuperate, im on a 24 hour cycle myself, but i just tried to clone for the first time and i think i did horribly but as far as i can tell its day 5 and they are still alive....
