I am starting some purple diesel seeds indoors right now under a t-5 flouresent. The beans are regular, not fem.
I am doing this to aquire some clones to move outdoors in April for my outdoor grow. The question is this: why can't I grow the seeds say until five to six inches in height then go 12/12 with lighting so plants will show sex
then get rid of males and return lights to 24 on and let females resume vegetative growth, then take clones when larger and ready. Why do most people take clones off of plants then go 12/12 and not only have to determine which mother plants are male or female, but you also have to weed out males amoung clones that were taken off of mothers. Seems like a lot more work and hassel, please advise. NEED HELP>>>
