I use rockwool and coco, ive used perlite, soil and mixes of horticultural sand. Coco is the easiest to monitor nutes and correct defficiencys in. Rockwool is the best for cloning as it will hold moisture longer, makes it easier for me. I use clonex purple. I use a warm 48w fluro. Ive revegged from last grow which was in a soil, perlite and sand mix. I switch to coco to re veg, there were only 2 tiny buds left on and i revegged for a month in 400w sodium and was left with a meter wide canopy of new growth. The roots are able to move better through coco. So my re veg was actually rapid. Its because the roots were still able to suck up as much energy from the medium to support what the plant used to be before harvest. So obviously i toned back the nutes untill about 2 weeks, when 2 15 cm growth shoots were ready to be tied down. Kick up the nutes for the next 2 weeks and filled out the canopy, tieing down more and more each day. Now im 3 weeks into flower and its huge. I swear by reveg, but need to be able to increase my clone success rate, just so i dont kill my girl
