Cloning malfunction lol!

As we were starting to clone today... I was getting everything set up and I kinda went over with my friend what my procedure was gonna be to clone my plant. As I snipping my new baby clones I handed them to my friend to dip in the cloning gel (which I had set some aside). I had not noticed that he had opened the original gel bottle and was dipping them into the bottle. Does this now make my cloning gel worthless now? I had success with just the liquid and rockwool before just desided to use gel this time around. Well as I said basic questions at this point are... My cloning gel now is it worthless? AND is it really needed to use gel in the 1st place?

If he messed up my gel.... He will have to kiss-assLOL!

You want your friend to suck you? lol depends how deep and how wide the area is your friend dip it, you can scoop the top parts off the bottle I guess. The cloning gel helps with your success rates and helps to root some hard to clone strains. If your strain is easy to clone and you have good success rate anyway then you can do without.

I've seen videos of people dipping the clone straight into the gel, I'm not sure what that would do to the whole bottle, what do the directions say?

hi all
u should never dip clones in to the main bottle of compound!!

why!

because it can transfer any diseases that clone had on to any other clone there after
i wouldnt risk future gardens over clonex tbh scooping it out will not work... if this is an option your looking at u would of waisted less by putting a tad in a little glass.
but as you left the cloning job to ur m8 i guess he knows how to clone that being said he wouldnt just stick the very tip of it in as roots will shoot from any cuts on the stem

hope this helps :)
