Is it possible to take cuttings from a plant in flowering stage and cloning it? Or do you have to put it back into veg mode for a week or so before cloning?

Someone posted a few day's ago that had a clone with trichomes on it, might want to search for the thread and see how he/she is growing it.

It's ok to take clones early in to flower. Normally the first 2-3 weeeks at the latest. Take them from the bottom of the plant. They should grow roots in the normal time. Try using the DIY bubbleponic cloner in the DIY section of the FAQ. There's a 20 inch tupperware container that a propagation dome fits perfect on. I've had roots a few days in cuttings taken from plants 2.5 weeks into flower. Used the bubbleponic method with a dome and it worked great.

It's easy to screw up and end up with them stretched or deformed, but veg long enough and they will be fine....

I just took a clone from the plant the DAY I HARVESTED, and it was living for about 2 weeks, rooted and all, but i guess my conditions or something else killed it, but it fully rooted, and had new leave growth in like a week. Kinda shitty, i think my whole box was too hot(only 1 clone, didnt take the time to make a whole cloning thing) and it was my first time ever taking a cutting, so it worked fucking well for me. I just used rooting gel and when the clone was gonzo - this point

I Pulled it and checked if it rooted, fuckin right it had like 2 inch roots i do NOT know why it had to die on me, damn.
