Ok
So i finally have some females
now i want to clone them
I've made my own rooting agent out of willow trees...
I've read the grow faq's on cloning & have a HUGE male plant that i'm gonna chop up and try to clone for practice....
so i got my cuttings soaking in the rooting hormone
i cut them off at a 45 degree angle like i read to do
what do i do next
Plant them in pots lol???
Thanks in advance...

Quick and easy way:

Step 1: Take a cutting at the 45 degree angle, dip it into the rooting hormone.

Step 2: Place into a Solo cup filled with regular potting soil(pre-moisten the dirt so you don't have to when it's in there)

Step 3: place a plastic sandwhich bag over them.

Give them 10-15 minutes of breathing out of the bag every day for the first 3 days. As long as there's moisture left, they'll be fine. After the 3rd day they shouldn't need the bags anymore, some may though. After 5-7 days, a gentle tug on the clone will let you know if it's rooted. If it freely comes up a few CM, then it's not rooted. If it has pressure behind it, and you see the dirt around it pull slightly, it's rooted.

Can be done under 24/0 or 18/6 with good results. So far I've had about 80% success rate, and the 20% dead were due to human error.

pool,is it possible to use cloningmethod on a broken newborn plant(2weeks)or is it just a throw away?

Rascalone - Depending on how bad the break is, a shiskabob stick, and electrical tape could fix it. If not, yes you could clone it. May take a few weeks too root since it's so young though.

Pizzzh - Yes you can clone from a plant that's in flower. You can clone a bud and root it into flower. The thing is, if you want it to be out of flower, it will take alot longer to root because it needs to root, and reveg at the same time. If you do clone from a plant in flower, be sure to use 24/0(18/6 and it'll think it's in flower longer), and no baggies for moisture(bud rot).

I'm sure wierd things have happened on more than one occasion.... if the plant is in early flower though, and it roots, it will eventually re-veg.

I actually have one atm, it's just over a month old. I took it a week after first signs of sex. It's just coming out of the whole process, and will be ready for flower in another week or two. I had to throw out it's sister because she couldn't handle the stress.(will be harvesting said clones mother very soon, depending on smoke report, may keep the clone as a mum.... nice purp pheno, but nothing spectacular... yet... fruity smell)
