Hey growers.
I have searched and i can't seem to find the answer for this question. Can you take clones off your auto plants? If so, when can i begin taking them?
Thanks a bunch!

no not agood idea unless you accidentaly snap a branch of the plant . if you clone a auto the clone is a exact copy of the mother plant if its flowering cycle would be the same but you would lose 10/14 days worth of growth for root development in the clone .but as i said earlier if u snap a branch by all means root and save what you can .

Yeah, the answer is no you don't clone autos. The benefits with autos is they grow any time of the year and mature really fast. The negative is they grow short (usually under 2ft) so you need to grow a lot and you always have to start from seeds. Indoors in cabinets or dedicating a room and doing Sea of Green they can be worth it. Outside don't even waste your time.

Cloning autos would be stupid man they have a life cycle that when they finish they die. It doesnt matter with the light and all that they do there thing and die. They flower automatically so taking a clone if you do get it to root is gonna flower once it does root meaning you cant veg it to get big. They just flower. If you wanna clone get some fem seeds or something being a noob it sounds. What you really want is the regular seeds tho and find a keeper in them. keep reading all the info theres a lot of stuff to learn. When i first started this hobby i was doing 8 hrs a day research for months. There is a lot of BS info on here thats not good but thats your job to find out whats good and what isnt. Invest in a grow book Cervantes grow bibble is good for noobs.
